Q the family man   June   The kids

June is a stunning beauty, both outside and in. The first time ever I saw her ... well, I became her prisoner. And I was glad to be one. But it was only the start. I discover an angel inside her everyday.

The oldest photo I took of June.
She was 21.

Summer of 2014.
A museum was built where the pond used to be.

After more than 30 years together, it's hard to imagine life without each other. We both know it, and the kids do too.

When she smiles, I think she loves me.
But when she laughs, I think nothing. I'm just happy.

Against the Atlantic Ocean.
On Mother's Day, the year she turned 50.

June is a dedicated wife and mother. As we get closer and closer to being empty nesters, I look for ways to repay her sacrifice and devotion. But all she says is, I just need to spend more meaningful time with her.

Being a working professional, Christine couldn't join the festivity of Mom's birthday celebration.

You will find her in the garden, enjoying her flowers and the view of the house.

June's love for flowers led her to study Ikebana [just in case: Japanese style flower arrangement], which has become one of her passions. She has been a student of Ikebana for almost 20 years now. Of the many styles, she studied the Ohara School style (小原流).

... along with seashells, tiny rocks, and Ben's ultrasound image at 2 months into pregnancy.

Shown below are some of June's Ikebana photos. I began taking photos of her flower arrangements, but the collection grew so quickly that I couldn't keep up.

Here are a few from the 2006 Philadelphia Flower Show, where June did a demonstration.

With what she studies, she regularly does "altar flowers" at our church.
